Backstory: Little Jessie grew up in the badlands of America, trailer park child of an unmarried mother and oldest of five siblings. Her mom made cash by packing drugs and guns across the border, Jessie was playing with M-16's long before Barbie dolls. Kids in that life don't usually last long unless they're useful, thus Jessie became a crack shot by age twelve and was helping her mother and "friends" in their illegal activities up until her late teens.

She split off on her own when she was seventeen after one of her mom's pimps tried to rape her; she slit his throat with a kitchen knife then blew a hole in his crotch with a sawed off shotgun. Her mother beat her damned near to death and Jessie caught a ride out of the desert with a motorcycle gang headed for Vegas. She drifted for several years, falling in with gun-running crowds along the Mexican border, picking up combat skills, strategy and tactics and learning how to get the job done whatever the cost, because the payoff's damned nice.

Jessie eventually gained the reputation of someone who'd do anything for a price, no matter the job. One of her exploits, however, went horribly wrong and she found herself rotting in a Mexican jail, until someone posted her rather impressive bail - and paid off the extradition fees, thank God - and offered her a more steady job than pissing around south of the border. When she arrived back in the States, the mysterious "benefactor" offered her specialized training and education, followed by steady work and an even steadier income. Not one to question where the money comes from, Jessie currently does contracts for the "Organization", always keeping an eye out for a better payday.

Personality: Jessie's street-smart, wise-cracking and somehow manages to stay one step ahead of trouble, most of the time. She puts up a prickly front to most until they prove their usefulness or resourcefulness, even then keeping most at arm's distance. Seemingly fearless, she doesn't hesitate to take jobs and contracts others won't, and doesn't back down from anything or anyone. Not shy in the least, she likes men despite having to shoot or dismember several when they couldn't take a damned hint.

A crack shot, she prefers semi-automatic rifles and shotguns, but will fall back on pistols in a pinch. She also taught herself to use knives and throwing daggers, and is never, never without a weapon. Human life doesn't mean much to her, unless it's someone she's come to trust, of which there are few. She'll give the pretense of respect when necessary, but it takes a lot for her to do so otherwise.

Plays Well In/With: Modern and AU settings (supernatural, steam-punk, apocalyptic and paranormal circumstances are awesome) with military/soldierly partners preferred by the character, although the mun will tag with anyone and tweak backstory to fit, promise! XD
